You can make it 4 different ways: single ruffle, single ruffle with trim, double ruffle, double ruffle with trim PLUS you can add straps to any style you make! You will adore this top all summer long! Pair it with shorts, jeans, a skirt and more!
The Royal Street Top can be made in your favorite lightweight or medium weight cotton, cotton blend, poly, poly blend, cotton lycra, lightweight knit, seersucker, voile, rayon, jersey, eyelet, gauze, linen, linen blend or similar!
*No buttons or zippers needed –a simple elastic, gathered, peasant style neckline allows it to slip on and stay on when you wear it.
*Petite, regular and tall hem lengths and petite and regular widths
are included in this pattern.
*Petite, regular and tall ruffle lengths are included in this pattern.
*Full size and color coded pattern pieces included for the shirt’s
front and back.
*Measurements given for the straps and ruffle strips since they are
rectangular in shape.
Materials:
Shirt fabric: 3/4 of a yard – 1 and 1/2 yards needed depending on
size and fabric width
Single ruffle fabric needed: 1/2 yard to 5/8 yard fabric needed for all
sizes
OR Double ruffle fabric needed (optional): 1 and 1/2 yards to 1 and
5/8 yards fabric needed for all sizes
Strap fabric (optional): 1/4 of a yard fabric needed for all sizes
Trim (optional): 56 inches – 80 inches needed for single ruffle trim OR
112-160 inches needed for double ruffle trim
Notions: 34-41 inches of 1/2 inch elastic needed depending on size
